Mr Chris, you really have lots a time at hand to scan such mails from root upwards and backwards and come to THE conclusion that " it was fired by Will since it was not a cisco issue" You think people pay attention to you becoz of your signature block.?!huh. Well, show US , how many pure technical discussions or mails have you posted to this forum. Cisco man , your comprehension is poor.Well , Cisco also hires mediocres. Relax bro.dont get "senti" about about cisco. We are largely technology focussed and not brand focussed I remain, Protocol Guru -----Original Message----- From: Chris Lemagie [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tue, 24 Oct 2000 13:43:28 -0700 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: Sniffer Pro 3.5 I originally thought the same thing, however I read the entire e-mail/reply chain and in that reply chain, Will stated that his first response was due to the fact that the original question was not a "Cisco" question. Rest at ease, I do not intend to jump into the middle of any more arguments. You are correct "protocol.guru" in stating that I have better things to do with my time. So do some others. Se Ya !!! The issue was(is) that the guy said now that he bought a product, can someone help him. AFTER HE BOUGHT A PRODUCT HE WANTS TO KNOW HOW TO USE IT. Will's question was didn't he do any kind of research or testing before buying it? -----Original Message----- From: Chris Lemagie [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Sunday, October 22, 2000 10:14 PM To: William E Gragido; derek lewinson Cc: cisco@groupstudy. com Subject: RE: Sniffer Pro 3.5 Got a question for ya Will. Have you ever had to diagnose network performance or response time problems??? How about poor application performance on your network??? If so, what tools do you use??? I personally believe that any questions regarding the use of Network Associates Sniffer products are valid in this or any study group pertaining to network theory, design or certifications. Sniffer products are some of the most widely used and trusted network troubleshooting tools available today. Just ask any experienced Network/Systems Engineer. All Cisco SE types that I work with have used these tools quite frequently. I would strongly suggest taking a moment to think about how a study group members question relates to networking in general before you flame them in the future. Remember, network theory and troubleshooting are a BIG part of most Cisco Certification exams... Of course, this is just my personal opinion and does not reflect the opinion of Cisco Systems, Inc. I would guess that I'm not alone in my opinion however. Please feel free to e-mail or call if you have any questions... Thanks for your valuable time...
