keith the info i got was from one of the recruiters for the school so he
probably was inflating the truth a little.  he also said that the max
students in a class are 14-15 but they only have 3 racks of equipment.  but
he did say that each rack has about $700,000 - $800,000 dollars of switches
and routers.  How true is that I dont know.  I too think that if you get a
local study group of about 4-5 and each invest $2,000 dollars we could get
enough equipment and practice on our own.  There are plenty of resources out
there that provide practice labs and if you have the equipment you should do
alright.
