24 hour commit to an "appointment only," by the lec's.  DSL is no more than
a second phone line to the local Telco (& one purchased by a rival DSL
company @ that).  You also don't get priority @ the ISP level.  If you're
not a big pipe purchasing business, with a bulldog administrator (on the
phone every time you suspect slow throughput)... can I say Priority Queuing
or traffic shaping :-)

Always remember- a good ISP sells 10 to 1...
