Router is by default nothing :-)
Router will detect what cable is plugged in .
You can see that with sh controllers ...
Put dce cable in one and dte in the other .
Set clock on the dce router , configure a similar
protocol , ppp or hdlc and things should come up/up.

No way to simulate T1 with a dialup connection . Think
you can put a t1 back-to-back but not with c2500 . I
saw a guy do it once with two c4500 .
