One question though- with your PPPOE, you may have a proprietary version
that runs ATM to the desktop.  When I worked for Covad, a lot of the cheaper
"best effort" services had an Acatel or Efficient Networks bridge as the
access point & WIN98SE with an ATM driver (ATM to the desktop).
