sorry misread your question.. . having a headache...

it'll run only 10BASE-T if reuse token cables.
it's better to upgrade to at least CAT5 ..

Subject: Token Ring to Ethernet

Hello,

I have a site that is running Token-Ring Type 1 cables. They want to
cut the ends and put RJ-45 and run Ethernet on the cables. Can this be
done, or will their be problems? Do we need anything like media
converters?

Thank You.
Raphael
