John,

I know that they have >A LOT< of cisco gear. They purchased quite a few
pieces of hardware from me (Optimized Systems) over the past 3-6 months.
The guy that is technical (Bryan O), does have a good understanding of Cisco
technologies. He seems like he would be a great instructor.

Is it unrealistic to go from nothing to CCNP in six months? NO, definitely
not unrealistic at all. If you are a good student and can memorize
information, you could probably get all the way through the CCIE written in
six months. However, the odds of that person passing the CCIE lab would
have to be relatively small (if not completely nill)! :)
