nope you're right!   :-)

3000's can't do the DCE thing.  Got one here hooked up to a 4000.  Same prob
but of course for me it's ok as the 4000 does dce.

Guess you need a 3rd router in the middle!

any excuse to buy another router is good for me.  (unless one of the gurus
here can concoct a special cable for you???)
