You are missing a default route to the internet.
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 206.107.237.x where x is the address of the cable
modem.
However if the 2521 can't see it, either somthing else is wrong.
Are the interfaces Up,Up?
A sh ip int bri should tell the tale on the 2501.
