The only reason (that I can think of) that you'd need to do that is to write
a new image onto flash. And when you do a 'copy tftp flash, the router
automatically puts the flash into R/W mode. (At least in Ver 12.0 and
higher - might even work in 11.2 or' 11.3)
If you wanted to do it for some other reason, I'd love to hear about it.
