Hi, It would be helpful if you can post the CCO URL(s) that advise not to use those modules on such routers.
I know the platform is different to the ones you are using, but I am currently using ATM and FE ports on Cisco 3660 routers and haven't seen a single problem. Although it is only on a LAB scenario, both ports have been working flawlessly. The router has one ATM card with dual OC3 ports, the FE port is buil-in on the Processor card, 4 ports Serial interface module and a single HSSI port module. IOS running is 12.0(7)T. I have a 4500 and 4500M, both running NP-4Ts, NP-1FE, and NP-1R & NP-2R modules. Has anyone had experience with running ATM and FE on the same router ??? Cisco says it's a big no-go, but it's only with home lab scenarios. Any advice ??? Fortunately or unfortunately, the OC3 modules are in the mail as we speak.
