I started taking the CCNP exams under the 1.0 versions. I took the CLSC (Switching), CMTD (RAS) and failed the ACRC (Routing) exams, then the switch happened. I then took the Routing exam, and the old ACRC made the routing exam I took look like a walk in the park. After that, the Support exam wasn't challenging at all. It wouldn't surprise me if Cisco decided to increase the difficulty on those exams.
