Thank you all for your replies. I have solved the problem, apparently these MAU's are not capable of 16mb speeds. I chaned the speed on the token ring cards and the routers to 4mb and everything is working great.
I don't need 16mb anyway because this is a non production lab. Thank you all for you help. Joseph J.
