Well... I'm still waiting on a reply from Paul in regards to some messages
headers for what I believed to be dupes.

My problem is, I don't have ANY rules applied on my Outlook 2000 client.
And my mail is served up from a MailMax POP3 server, not an Exchange Server.
I'll have to check with my provider to see if they have AV running on the
machine to maybe contribute to it... but with the difference of like 3-7
hours between each arrival time on the mail server, I doubt AV has anything
to do with it.

My symptoms have only been occuring off-n-on for the last couple of days,
and it only happens with a few threads. Most of the messages come through
fine otherwise.

3 Cheers for Paul for maintaining this communications portal!

To everyone with duplicates.

Try removing all your RULES if you are using the OUTLOOK client (or outlook
express)

Try removing FILTERS if you are using the Netscape client.

Otherwise use the NewsFeed.

I had dupes. I removed my RULES ALL OF THEM and I operated for a week
without them.
The Dupes seemed to stop. I had none in week. I re-created my rules and
have had zero trouble with them since.

Another thing to consider that may be linked is that Outlook client is
connected to an exchange server running viruscan and client pc is running
McAfee. Any or all of these things could be contributing to the problem.
However, mine has no problem anymore.

HTH

Jim
