Ohh that's a good idea, then when you get orders to Bosnia, Somalia, Kuwait, or Afghanistan, you can be like the whiners of Desert Storm that cried about joining to get an education, not to go to war. Only this time it will be about getting a security clearance instead of going to war!
While you can get a security clearance in the military, it is not valid after leaving the military unless it is documented correctly.
