moving on.......... I switched to a different router - a 4500M. Now I'm able to do all tftp actions. I think my 2509 has the write protect jumper on. I can't remember ever upgrading the code on this router since it is my terminal server.
But the Boson tftp server is still dead. The Cisco and SolarWinds servers work fine on a router that has read/write flash. So I guess I don't have an XP problem after all..........
