ISL or 802.1q trunk is an option if the interface hardware supports it. You configure 3 VLANs on the 2900. Trunk those 3 VLANs up to the 2600 and configure that Ethernet interface for ISL or 802.1q encapsulation with 3 subinterfaces, 1 for each VLAN.
Another option also works on just one interface....secondary IP addresses.
