Using this command only sets the bridge priority to 8192, meaning that anything lower than 8192 would take over as root. To give a switch the "best chance" to become and stay root, I would probably use this command as well as then setting the priority to 0. The only way that a different switch would take over after applying both of these commands would be a preferred MAC address. You can edit this also if you really wanna mess with things.
