Check the archives. I went through this exact scenario with a router that I sold to someone a couple of months ago. It worked fine when I had it, but when it got to their site, they couldn't connect. I used Teraterm, they used Hyperterm. They didn't want to use Teraterm (I don't know why) and we ended up resolving the problem by replacing the flash. Strange, but true.
