Speaking of syslog, if a syslog daemon is running on a unix machine, is that all that needs to happen for it to collect messages. I can get a Kiwi syslog program to work, but if I have a customer set up syslog on unix, nothing is in the logs, even though the router claims to have sent him messages (and all connectivity is working).
