Hi there, First of all, the questions for the re-cert exam are from all the 4 exams individual subject matter. Secondly, as far as my knowledge extends, CCNP and CCIE are 2 different tracks. In the sense that getting ur CCIE doesn't renew your CCNP certification. And if it expires, you lose the option of giving only the recertification exam. This information is to the best of my knowledge. I suggest confirm with www.cisco.com and please let us know if anything differs. Good luck with ur lab attempt/exams...
