Gernot's new FDX files for the Wadalab fonts are now in the git

Hello,

I made a test page for the punctuation, using my references for Rows 1
and 2 of the JIS X 0208-1990 standard, and the info file of the
"japanese" input method of Emacs 22. The attached LaTeX file should
show 6 tables, the first 3 with vertically rotated CJK glyphs (note
that since tables are sideways, the glyphs are in effect upside down
on a portait page); the later 3 tables show the glyphs in their
horizontal orientation.

It appears to me that the punctuation equivalent to that of the .fd
files is correctly rotated. However, there are a few more characters
which perhaps should be rotated.

In Table 1, using the row-column notation, characters
20-13/16/17/18/19, 40-01/02/03/08/09/14/15, 60-01, as well as a few
others that are visible in Table 3, might need to be rotated. The
symmetrical parenthesis do not get rotated, but the L-shaped ones
should, for instance. If it is OK I will check the encodings. Maybe
some adjustment of the absolute position will be needed too.

Regards,
   Gernot
