Thanks for the example files. Except for the TeXGyre fonts which cause
me some problem (for some reason I have
! Font [EMAIL PROTECTED] at 10.0pt not loadable: Metric
(TFM) file or
although I have installed the fonts, the maps given by updmap --listmaps
give

I can compile your example. However, I am still not sure about
some of the characters I have problems with. The first problem in my list,
for instance, is the traditional character 撃 (simplified: 击).
Is 撃 really typeset? It certainly doesn't work in my `song' environment.
