Hello list: I have a wonderful and ancent tri who has been on heart meds including Lasix for the past seven months. Yesterday, we had the vet drain fluid from her abdominal cavity for the first time to help ease breathing and heart. She is still feeling perky, eating well and does an occasional "wheely" when she thinks something good is about to happen. My questions regard how long it will take for the fluid to return, and how long we can resonably expect to be able to give her. Anyone been here before? Thanks. Steve Wallis.
