Sandra, it has been a while since I used Cute FTP, but I remember it as
being a very easy program. You re-do all your pages and have them ready.
Then you go online to the site where you would upload the pages, minimize
the browser window, open Cute FTP and tell it to connect. The files will
appear in a split screen. You click on the file that you want uploaded and
Cute FTP uploads and shows it in the uploaded files screen. Cute FTP must be
configured to upload to your ftp space and you have to tell it your user
name and password in the Cute FTP configuration file. This must be done, I
think, when you first set up Cute FTP.

I bought Dreamweaver Web Design Studio and it is much easier to use. You can
write the pages and upload them single file or a whole website at one time
by using Dreamweaver. Great software! I managed to get the academic version
since I have to have the software for IST 238 (a college computer class).

I haven't used this software on my Cavalier website yet, but plan to do this
after I finish up this semester of college--- pre-calculus and biology are
taking up almost all of my spare time at present. I plan to only take two
classes next semester and am planning toluse the extra time to start
ring-training some very pretty babies that we have saved from fall litters.

One thing that I have noticed is that I can tell more about a puppy from
JPEG photos than I can when evaluating them via eyesight. It is one of those
"camera doesn't lie" type of things. Sometimes, you can fall in love with
the temperament of a particular puppy and overlook a flaw in conformation. I
took photos of Eva's boys (was already saving the girl from the litter) and
one of the boys in particular looked so gorgeous in the photos that we
decided to keep him as well. He is actually prettier than the girl and she
is beautifully made. This really showed up in the photos. BTW Eva's puppies
are spoken for so this is not a promo for them.
All the best,
Susan Cochran
