FYI there has been discussion elsewhere (the guile list - don't ask
why it's a long story) about whether GNU needs this.

The view of rms, and oher respected GNU people was that it is not
needed since GNU should primarily support the GTK+ toolkit (which will
eventually be available on Windows as well).


But of course you may want to do it anyway (and I for one applaud
you).
