Subject: Re: 4.1.3 Web Agent Authentication Providers

I’m must be missing something.  My web authentication page shows only
“username” and “password” even though I have multiple auth providers
configured.  I can choose the provider with the installed agent but when using
a browser its not there.  What could I be missing?

Shane,

The web agent uses the specified authentication provider chosen by the user on
the web authentication page.  My users have an option for Local (default
provider on appliance) and LDAP.  Depending on which you choose, that’s how you
are authenticated and then given the NAC web agent posture assessment screen.

Hope this helps.

Does the 4.1.3 NAC Web Agent support other authentication providers other than
the local database?  LDAP for example?  It seems to use only the local database
with no obvious way to tell it to use something else.  Thanks.
