Thanks for the information everyone. In response to this I've been testing the 4.1.3.1 client and it
does seem to resolve the issue with LiveUpdate in Vista. I haven't run into any other problems with
it so far, but it sounds like some of you are having problems with it. Any issues I should look out
for in testing? We are running 4.1.2.1 Manager with a login timeout.

what version of the client we were running then, but I think it was the same
as the Manager, 4.1.2. I saw a machine with this problem just last month.
Since we have the temporary role set to 10 minutes, we tell the students to
open the program and run LiveUpdate using the LiveUpdate button on the
Symantec application. They can get through it within the 10 minutes time
limit and then we don't have to wait to see if the Client is going to work
or not.
I would be interested in hearing the outcome of the TAC... maybe they'll be
able to fix the problem.

recognizing SAV fine and catching the out of date definitions, but the "Update"
button in the CCA client is not launching LiveUpdate at all. Has anyone else
seen any problems like this? We have an open TAC with Cisco but they have been
slow to respond to us.
