3 significant things to consider with regards to 4.1.3.0 (based on our
roll out)

1. The server and agent are not entirely in agreement about a user's
status on the server (logged in, logged out, etc). The agent reports as
logged in but the user is not listed at all in any role (user has no
network access) I heard they were working on this and figuring out where
to put it on the road map ;-)

2. The PC agent version 4.1.3.0 has a nasty network connection dropping
bug - supposedly fixed in 4.1.3.1 (CSCsm05207 Bug Details - CCA Agent
drops network connection after delayed or no ARP reply Symptom: 4.1.3
agent experiences link-flap when it does not receive a reply from the
default gateway.

3. The mac agent (if you are using it) eats up processor utilization -
this is a bug in both 4.1.3.0 and 4.1.3.1 versions, apparently they are
working to fix it in 4.1.3.2

Happy Clean Accessing!

I echo these thoughts. I'm curious about any issues that anyone has
seen and if there are any "gotchas" that I should be aware of before
upgrading.

Subject: Thoughts on 4.1.3?

I'm looking to upgrade our CCA 4.1.2.0 up to 4.1.3.0 (with agent
4.1.3.1) shortly. We don't use the Macintosh agent. I'm not interested
in most of the new features but I'd like support for the latest AV
software, and 64 bit Windows would be nice as well.

I haven't heard anything very positive about this version. Is it stable
enough now or should I wait for the next one?

Cisco folks, is there a 4.1.3.1 Server update imminent?

-Mike
