Well, since OPSWAT and Clean Access will have support for Security Essentials 4 (hopefully) soon, I created a registry key present check, and if that key is present, the user passes the AV Def Rule (requiring up to date defs)
Registry Key: HKLM\ SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Antimalware\Signature Updates\ Exists I know that this doesn't check to see if the defs are up to date, but it lets our students get online during finals week.
