Dan,

You mentioned OPSWAT. I am deploying a 4.9.1 installation for AnConnect
clients. Is OPSWAT ready to go out of the box? Or is there some configuration
needed to get it working?

Thanks

Just a reminder, the NAC uses OPSWAT to handle AV/AS support. Documentation of
support clients is available at http://www.opswat.
com/products/oesis-framework/supported-applications?type=antivirus<http://www.opswat.%20%20%20%20com/products/oesis-framework/supported-applications?type=antivirus>
and at this time they do not have version 4 listed.

We are using 4.8.2, and created a custom registry key check based on this post:

Microsoft updated Security Essentials to version 4 and this is not included in
the current module. We created a custom registry check and rule that looks at a
registry key for the version.

Registry Key:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Microsoft Security
Client\
Value Name: DisplayVersion
Value DataType: String
Operator: starts with
Value Data: 4.

We also had to create a custom registry key check to pass the AV Def rule.

Are others having issue with CCA recognizing Microsoft Security Essentials
