I haven't actually had a Windows system for a while. I left the world of warcraft partition on my laptop for a few months (but then wiped it in a system upgrade), and before that (several) years ago I delayed reformatting a new computer for weeks while I played my way through Diablo and something that might have been named "starsiege". But my fiancee has a windows machine and I play World of Warcraft on her computer when she's not using it. I got a copy of World of Warcraft last christmas, and it would be nice to actually be able to run it. :) > That was on a 32 bit system. Have you used it for more than running sol? Since I haven't got a Windows system, I haven't got a copy of solitaire to run under it. I dug up an old "dungeon keeper" CD and got it to install, but it refuses to actually run. Apparently I need a _real_ 1541 disk drive to make the piracy checks happy. (You mean this _isn't_ a cracked copy? Oh, I won't run then. Yup, piracy check: succeeds if it's pirated. Idiots.) But apparently, WoW can be made to run under Wine, and it's on my to-do list. Rob -- Never bet against the cheap plastic solution. _______________________________________________ Clfs-support mailing list [email protected] http://lists.cross-lfs.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/clfs-support
