Very strange in this is, that the older clonezilla that I have is supposed to be for 32, so that I can use it in other machines too. It works, if the kernel is 32-bit, and it sometimes is. My last restore was with it. But sometimes if somehow boots an AMD64 kernel! And that fails, because the modules are 32 bit. Is it possible that the clonezilla disk has multiple kernels, and it somehow may load different ones on some fuzzy decision? > Secondly, after Clonezilla loads, can you drop to a shell and ping the > NAS? No problem with that, as the network appears to be statically compiled into the kernel. Only problem is with modules, lsmod does now show any, and loading one for mount does not work. > > On July 6, 2015 6:45:55 AM EDT, Donkey Hottie > <don...@fredriksson.dy.fi> wrote: > > On 6.7.2015 6:49, Les Mikesell wrote: > > On Sun, Jul 5, 2015 at 9:37 PM, Donkey Hottie > <don...@fredriksson.dy.fi> wrote: > > > I have used Clonezilla for years, backup up and restored, no > problems. > > But now, suddenly something strange happens: > > I try to access my NAS in a restore, and clonezilla says: > mounting: > mount.nfs: File not found > > Appears that my kernel is 3.16.0 x86_64 and /lib/modules has > only > 3.2.xx-486 or something.
