...or between Wintendo versions for that matter. Switching from Win98 -> WinXP 
is a big step for Joe computer idiot. I could as easily have someone who does 
mail, surfing, newsgroups etc learned in KDE as I could XP for someone who 
never used it. PLUS Id not be format-reinstalling every 3-6 months when 
Windows magically kicks its own registry in the proverbial nuts.

Games are cool, but they are a bonus of the high processing power we have, not 
a priority IMO. There's always dual boot until the day comes when we can all 
completely rid ourselves of ms crap.
