I bought this scanner 7-8 years ago at a garage sale for $30.00. It
still works for me, although it doesn't work right out of a box. it
needs firmware loading before it can be recognized by Linux. Here is
what lsusb has to say about it:

Bus 002 Device 002: ID 04a5:2060 Acer Peripherals Inc. (now BenQ
Corp.) Prisa 620U+/640U

It works well with sane, right now on Ubuntu. Years ago it worked with
both RedHat and Suse Linux without a hitch.

Cheers!
