I have an HP multifunction (HP Photosmart c7250) printer/fax/scanner. HP provides linux drivers and a management applicaiton. It has wired and wireless networking hence its on my home network. I can print, fax and scan from anywhere in the house. Works very well as would most of HP's gear. My only problem with this particular unit is that it guzzles ink and the ink cartridges are expensive. Also, invariably, when I go to print on it its been idle for a few days and it launches into a self diagnostic and head cleaning operation that is both loud and slow. If I'm on the phone I have to leave the office to be heard!
