My eyes are more resistant to some optical glitches than watching a video
with 0.5 frames per second... :) But at the bottom both is unacceptable.

OK, there are still some things missing in GStreamer, but for DVD menus
resindvd [1] works quite well for me and the deinterlace2 [2] plugin
also made some progress. My main reasons for using GStreamer is the
stable API (instead others *cough* libavcodec *cough*) and the
possibility to use it in a commercial environment.
