My mom (51 yrs) a case of CML with extra medullary relapse resulting in Neutizing Pyo-myositis of left calf requiring above knee amputation. Mutation analysis studies have shown T315i mutation which is known to be resistant to all available Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor and she will require Allogenic Stem Cell Transplantation (HLA matched with younger brother).
Recently she went into blast crisis (Blast cell= 23%), so my concern is should we try for promising drugs like HHT (Homoherringtonin) which seems to work in case of T315i mutation. She is now on hydroxyurea 2 to 3gm per day.
