Hi Marty and thanks so much for the uplift. Yes I don't relax until the doctor comes in and says my blood is ok. My blood pressure goes way up and even after all these years it's still the same. I too had to go once a week and sometimes more when I was first diagnosed. My onc at the time had his own small blood lab so I would know right away. My platelets were so high he once told me he couldn't believe it so he counted them himself. He's the onc that put me in the hospital twice to have my blood cleansed. Moffitt doesn't do that they depend on the tki to work. You have really helped me to see the positive even through the bad things that I have been through. I go to Moffitt next Thursday and am hoping this new drug will keep me in remission. This drug will probably be my last chance so pray that it keeps working. I am still worried about John. He was on Ponatinib also and he hasn't checked in for a while. Blessings everyone.
