Where do you get cheap Vodka

Has anyone got any good way to get the antifreeze taste out of the water system, other than just repeated flushing with fresh water? A pal of mine suggests that the best way to winterize the FW system is with (cheap) Vodka. Can anyone think of a reason that wouldn't work? You certainly wouldn't have the hassle of flushing the system in the spring. I wonder if the alcohol would rot to rubber in the pump?
