No dispute from here on the value of the group resource; that I assure you. That takes time and usually it's a PITA dealing with insurance companies about claims. However, what I understand is that he won't be able to replace those precious personal belongings which got stolen and that there will be a lot of work involved with getting back to where he was with the website, but he seems determined to get on with that. Monetary contributions can't help to get those precious personal belongings back or to relieve the lasting feelings that result from having his private personal space violated.
