You guys are killing me!
I'm driving a 2003 Honda Pilot! Not even with a sunroof.
4 kids between 8-14 yrs old and a recent divorce have done serious damage to my
'fun money'!!!
My plan to up-size the boat is my bold expenditure. No spare change lying
around for a snazzy 2 seat convertible.
I do have a 1979 Suzuki GS 750 that I bought to celebrate getting separated
(its a long story that requires several drinks to properly unravel).

BTW - I made an offer on the C&C 30 I've been looking at. Offered $12500 on
Monday. Sent an email making offer (didn't draft up proper contract as of yet) - no
response from broker at all.
I'm going to give him a call tomorrow, but I don't want to sound too interested
or needy.
Regarding the comments about maintenance on bigger boats, I must admit that
part of my is tempted to stick with the 24ft'er. Easy and cheap to maintain.
But I think (hope) the bump to a 29-30 will give more useful capacity without
bringing on too much of the other.
For interest sake, my current boat (and I plan to move the name if/when I get my bigger
boat) is "Big Picture" - I don't really have the spare time or money, but
having a boat is about ignoring some of the details and enjoying life.
