The Admiral and I looked carefully at Bene 36.7s for a while and have sailed in boats with similar quarter berth arrangements in the Caribbean. I think it is fair to say that quarter berths on most boat are pizza ovens..they get marginally better if you have a nice cockpit owning keeping the sun away and if they have two ports instead of one...on the V berth, it will fit a couple as long as they are under 5'8" and love each other dearly since the widest part is only 5ft instead of 6ft as in most boats of that size....IMHO it is a pretty sexy boat....

A Benny 36.7 owner on another list described the aft berths as "pizza ovens", and the V-berth as "too short for anyone except kids" which may give you some sense of the comfort level. They do have a much faster PHRF rating, although most of it must be on the downwind side. They are not made with solid polyester based resin layup though. The C&C 99 is laid up using Epoxy not polyester so in many respects could be considered stronger .. Or if not stronger than certainly lighter for the equivalent amount of strength? Speaking of Beneteaus. The Beneteau 367 sails well for racing and has a huge interior for entertaining or cruising. Is priced about the same as a C&C99 on the used market Mike -----Original Message----- From: CnC-List [mailto:cnc-list-boun...@cnc-list.com<mailto:cnc-list-boun...@cnc-list.com>] On Behalf Of Curtis Sent: Wednesday, October 09, 2013 10:12 AM To: cnc-list@cnc-list.com<mailto:cnc-list@cnc-list.com> Subject: Re: Stus-List Looking to upsize.
