The hours are possible. I'm on a good sized lake and only motor to get in/out
the harbor. I don't go out on windless days.
I have 150hr on the replacement Universal diesel which is at least 35yr old,
maybe more.

i've got an A4. This is tempting.
But I don't know anything about diesels and it's a little dubious. how does one
go about assessing the condition of a motor without a transmission, outside of
the boat?
400 hours? Unlikely for a 30 year old motor.
I'm probably asking for too much.
