If you manage to get a hose connected to the underside of the shower drain please let me know how. On my 35 MKII it seems impossible to do that without tearing up some fiberglass in or around the shower basin or maybe the outlet underneath might be accessible when the mast and mast step are removed but it would still be a tight fit.that is why my shower drains to the bilge.in my case that isn't bad because I think the soapy shower water sloshing around helps to keep the bilge clean and since I add antibacterial Mr. Clean (1/2 bottle) to the bilge regularly and occasionally (maybe 3 times) during the summer season I also add about a cup of Javex to the bilge to keep bacterial growth (and resultant smells) down. Then under the sink in the head on the outside there are 2 electical switches, one push pull and one momentary, neither of which are connected to a pump. The pump does not exist, but forward of the fwd head bulkhead, there is a 5/8"ID hose which goes up to a thru hull on the port side. So, I surmise that some kind of pump sucks the water out of the shower bilge and kicks it overboard out through the port side. Is this what happens? If that is the case, where should the hose run from that shower bilge? More questions later.
