I have to put some props in for the 35-3; we hit 10+ knots the last two
weekends we were out this year. The first time was with the spinnaker up in
above 25knots, flat water on a fairly tight reach for those conditions
(about 110 / 120 apparent).  If we had been able to bear off I'm sure we
would have gone faster.  The other time was in less wind (~20), but with
big seas from a long fetch and wind against current.  We saw 10.5 knots for
some sustained surfing with a 110% jib and single reefed main - that was
fun!  The waves weren't aligned with the wind, so we were on a broad reach,
but going directly down the waves.  The reason we were going downwind in
the second case was because I got tired of being airborne / slamming going
the other way and didn't want to break the boat on the last sail of the
year...
