Mark, If all you want is a "lunch hook" the smaller one is fine for your boat. If you plan to do extended cruising where you could be caught in an anchorage (as opposed to a marina) in a storm then I would re-evaluate. I'm not doing extended cruising, so personally I would not upsize. (I have a 22 lb Delta and only 10 feet of chain. Yes, I need more chain.)
