Hey Ron, I think you meant feathering prop right? I don't recall PYI making a folding prop. And you're right the 2 blade just doesn't transfer the power to the water as efficiently. It is likely that the hull clearance has limited the size of your prop to 16". In this case more pitch is the only way to get more thrust from the prop. This could cause the engine to not reach full rated speed. Remember frequently running the engine at ~80% load is best for it.
