Chris, Call Edson and give them your pedestal's serial number (found inside the pedestal under the compass on a blue tag). They can look up the exact cable and chain length sold to the factory. Best to not assume a generic length will fit as C&C 37 models cover a wide range of boats over many years. I'll defer to others for your windlass question.
