I have had the poly glow on a red boat that was pink . Yes it looks wet . I can 
send you photos of my boat after I have buffed it . I have photos of other 
oxidized boats that you can see yourself in after . Poly glow with good prep 
works great . Eventually you will have to strip it as it builds up . The first 
few years it's great . Application is easy . Removal is a bit more work . Poly 
glow is easy to apply and touch up . As I said I paid for and used the product 
. I prefer to buff the gelcoat then wax. Wax is only there to protect your boat 
not to make it shine .
